Challenge

MediaMarkt was one of the top speakers at the "What's next in Retail Tech 2021" event in Rotterdam (NL) where it unveiled its brand new concept "MediaMarkt Tech Village" for the larger audience within the BeNeLux. MediaMarkt wanted to bring their keynote in a professional way full of experience.

Solution

Starting from MediaMarkt's existing templates, we brought the story to life by delivering different pieces of content in different interactive ways. The experience during the keynote was central so that the new concept was brought clearly and professionally.

Dynamic timeline
to share relevant information

The history of a company is often not the most interesting piece of the presentation. As a listener to the presentation, the founding date of the company is often enough. If you do have an interesting history as a company, it can help to bring your history in a dynamic & interactive way to enhance the experience.

At MediaMarkt, we brought the history in a dynamic, tiered and lively way. We built the timeline interactively with hyperlinks so people can navigate themselves to -for the audience- relevant moments in the history.

Concept sharing / Experience

During the keynote they wanted to explain the 4 different concepts of their brand new Tech Village.

We tackled this by transferring the original image on which the concept is based to the 3D Renders in a split-vision manner.

In this interactive way, we sensitively increase the experience and recognition of the concept during the keynote.

“Very excited about the professional result of the keynote! I was able to present with great confidence.”

Before & After
Slides with data

Many presentations carry data. This is a big warning for the speaker to be careful with. After all, you don't want people to analyze too much your data or catch you not saying or displaying all the correct information. This is why we often choose to include only the essence or main message on our slides, especially in external presentations.

In this MediaMarkt example, we simplified the left half to a simple percentage instead of a "more complex" chart.
